Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony.......

                                          It was a beautiful 9:00am ceremony attended by staff
                                         and parents, siblings, and grandparents.
                                                                                 

They served delicious refreshments.

All of the parents chipped in for the food, cake and drink.

The class sang many, many fun songs they learned during 

the course of the school year.

           The children worked hard on the songs since mid May. The children came in to the song by the Partridge Family  ('Come On Get Happy'') and The Hail Mary and Ola

Amigo (Hello Friends) song were learned in Spanish so were included in the ceremony since they knew each very well. The other songs were cute (Five Green and Speckled Frogs,Little White Duck (keeping on the same type of theme), funny (Icky,Sticky,Ooey,Gooey Bubblegum) which the children loved,and spiritual since we are a Catholic school (Joy,Joy,Joy,Joy Down in My Heart). The ending song was a K graduation

song that had recently been heard on You-Tube that Mrs. Lisa loves (A Beautiful Day). The song that the class sang to their parents was a song that Mrs Staub had taught them for another graduation.

The children made the frog puppets and the flowers that were given to their mothers at the end of the ceremony. They received a #1 grad bracelet before they crossed the Bridge to 1st Grade. Each graduate also received special goody bags from Mrs K and Mrs. Lisa  after they graduated and came off stage.

                                              The children even prayed and sang in spanish
                                               and did a wonderful job!!
                         

                              They received the diploma's one by one as their names were called.

                                                       
                                                     The young graduates were all smiles
                                                     as were their parents.

                                                The children presented gifts to the staff.

                                              Then finally crossed the bridge into 1st grade!

                                            One of our young graduates said the closing prayer.
                                      Their teacher Mrs. Lisa Kelly and their Teacher's Aid Mrs.
                                      Patricia Kelly looked on proudly.

                                                  In the end , the jubilant graduates returned to their
                                           elated parents and grandparents waiting for them in the crowd.

Current OLP students who had siblings or other

relatives graduating were even able to attend this joyous milestone.
