What to do on “Take your child to work Day” when you are at school?  Show off your skills as an English tutor!

According to current educational research, people retain 90% of what they teach.  Our fifth graders will never forget punctuation and capitalization. 

Here they are reinforcing punctuation and capitalization rules to the third graders.  

The fifth graders are importing their knowledge of the rules to help the third graders better understand the rules. 

Our third graders understand the importance of these rules and how we continue to use these skills throughout our years of schooling for the rest of our lives.  

Besides the knowledge of what a positive impact they can have on younger students, the fifth graders enjoy spending time with the younger students and helping them to master these skills.
