OLP's elementary students eagerly respond to questions regarding healthy eating habits and good dental care courtesy of Mr. & Mrs. Farcon both of who are dentists.
Students pay close attention as the dentist explains the importance of brushing your teeth.
Early Childhood, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades listen attentively as they learn about healthy eating and taking care of their teeth courtesy of a visit from Mr. & Mrs. Farcon and their assistants.
Students used string (floss) to clean food (playdoh) from between "teeth". Each student took turns while learning the importance of eating teeth friendly foods, and brushing and flossing regularly.
It was an excellent lesson in fine motor skills, and also showed why it is important to do a good job with flossing.
